Salk Scores 143 Points, Secures 13th Straight Victory

WALTERBORO, S.C. –  The USC Salkehatchie men's basketball team started off the new year with a 143-92 victory on Sunday evening. The Indians defeated Franklin Prep to improve to 14-1. With the victory, Salkehatchie has now tied the longest winning streak in school history with 13 consecutive wins.
Salkehatchie led from buzzer to buzzer as the Indians set the pace and used their depth to sprint past Franklin Prep. Salkehatchie continues to lead the NJCAA in scoring and averages 116.2 points per game.
The Indians will now turn their focus to Region 10 play as they travel to conference powerhouse Caldwell Tech on Wednesday, Jan. 7. The Cobras are 13-2 overall and enter the game on a four-game winning streak.
