Salk Scores 116 in Road Win

MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The USC Salkehatchie men's basketball won its third straight after defeating Mount Olive on Sunday afternoon 116-71. Salkehatchie improves to 4-1 overall.
Salkehatchie never trailed in the game and quickly jumped out in front. The Indians played all 13 eligible players throughout the high-scoring contest, and each player on the roster scored a minimum of four points.
The men's basketball program has now scored 100+ points in four of the five games. Salkehatchie, who led the nation in scoring last season, is currently averaging 110.8 points per game.
Salkehatchie will travel back to Florida next weekend for a tournament at Florida State Jacksonville College, where they will take on Florida Juco Pasco Hernando on Friday and Marion Military Institute out of Alabama on Saturday. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. on Friday and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
