Salk Off to Best Start in School History at 8-1

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The USC Salkehatchie Men's Basketball is off to the best start in school history after winning its seventh straight game and improving to 8-1 on the season. The Indians defeated Converse University on Sunday, 121-71.
Salkehatchie never trailed in the contest and controlled the pace from buzzer to buzzer. The historic start features three wins at home, three neutral site wins, and two true road wins.
Salkehatchie will now travel to local rival East Georgia on Wednesday, Dec. 3rd, as they attempt to sweep the Bobcats in Swainsboro, GA. Salk won the first meeting back on Nov. 5th, 103-98.
