Lynch Named NJCAA Coach of the Week by HoopDirt.Com

WALTERBORO, S.C. – USC Salkehatchie is thrilled to announce that Head Men's Basketball Coach Matt Lynch has been named HoopDirt.com Coach of the Week. This national recognition comes in Coach Lynch's second year at the helm, highlighting his exceptional leadership and the team's remarkable success.

Under Coach Lynch's guidance, the Indians are not only leading Region 10 Division I, but are also dominating the national statistical rankings. They currently hold the top spot in the NJCAA in scoring, averaging 113.6 points per game. The team also leads the nation in offensive rebounding, grabbing an impressive 21.2 boards per contest, and sits second nationally in assists, with 23.8 per game.

This week's award comes after Coach Lynch led the Indians to three victories, maintaining their perfect 12-0 home record and improving to 15-4 overall (4-1 in Region 10 play). The wins were particularly impressive as they came against the top teams in the region: 118-108 win over Cape Fear (H) ,104-100 win at Gaston (A) and a 95-90 win over Wake Tech (H).
