USC Salkehatchie Falls Short Against Oxford

USC Salkehatchie men’s soccer fell to Oxford, 2-1, in a hard-fought match Friday night.

Salkehatchie’s goal came when Lenny Mbimou delivered a well-placed ball over the Oxford defense to Etungano Wa Etungano, who broke through the back line and found the net. Mbimou recorded the assist.

“We had great individual performances from a large number of players; however, the chemistry wasn’t there to produce the result we wanted,” said Coach Glass.

Following the match, Jacob Lestz encouraged his teammates to reset and trust their abilities.
