Second-Half Surge Lifts Salkehatchie Past Wake Tech, 92-87

Raleigh, N.C. – The USC Salkehatchie men's basketball team won a thriller over Wake Tech 92-87 on Saturday afternoon to improve to 17-2 overall and 3-1 in Region 10 play.
Salkehatchie got off to a slow start and Wake took the 56-50 advantage at halftime. This was only the third time this season that Salk didn't secure a halftime lead. After continuous effort and fight the Indians were able to regain the lead with three minutes remaining in the contest. Execution and free throw shooting secured Salk's third straight conference victory.
