Coach Aquino's latest recruit comes from Cumming GA; her name is Ellie Pence.
"From the first time I saw her highlights I knew she was special." Says Aquino. "When I got to see her play in real time at Big South, I saw what an incredible leader she is, and despite the score on the table, she was always locked in. I'm really looking forward to seeing what she does on our court in the fall."
Pence commented on her excitement becoming part of the Salk Volleyball family: "I am ecstatic to be apart of Salk Volleyball! I can’t wait to get close with the girls and become a member of the family. Athletically, I hope to bring essential skills to the table and help the team grow. While academically still growing and learning everything there is available, especially in Bio. The fall cannot get here fast enough! Go Indians!"
Ellie is a setter and plans on majoring in Biology.
