Coach Dani Aquino has signed Alanis Francelino, an all-star libero, to her fall roster.
"Alanis is not only a dynamic back row player, she has a killer jump serve and an amazing top spin swing. Salkehatchie volleyball is lucky to have her," Coach Aquino said.
Francelino says this opportunity is a step toi fulfilling her dream.
"Volleyball has been a part of my life since I was 6 years old. Playing at a university like USC Salkehatchie is a great opportunity to continue fulfilling my dream," she said. "I chose USC Salkehatchie for three main reasons. First, the trust placed in me by Coach Aquino was fundamental to my decision. She believes in my potential and motivates me to do my best. Second, my teammates have assured me that this experience will be incredible, providing a supportive environment that is essential for my development. Finally, the structure provided by the university is exceptional, allowing me to achieve my academic and athletic goals, with a good scholarship."
Francelino will be majoring in business marketing at USC Salkehatchie this fall.
