Men's Basketball Takes Down Wake Tech

WALTERBORO, S.C. – The USC Salkehatchie men's basketball team won its fifth straight game on Saturday with a 95-90 win over Wake Tech Community College. Salkehatchie improves to 15-4 overall (4-1 in Region 10 play), remaining a perfect 12-0 at home.
Salkehatchie jumped out to a quick 15-4 lead and stayed strong through the first half. They held a 12-point advantage going into halftime, 52-40.
Wake Tech began the second half with tons of energy and quickly stormed back to take the lead, 58-59. Salkehatchie would tough it out the rest of the way for a gritty 5-point win.
