USC Salkehatchie is proud to announce that Alejandro Henao, a standout sophomore and captain of the men's soccer team, has been named the Kesia Brown State Farm Student-Athlete of the Month. Hailing from Cali, Colombia, Ale embodies the ideal Salkehatchie student, demonstrating exceptional leadership, an unrelenting work ethic, and tremendous drive both on the field and in the classroom. His commitment sets a demanding standard, making him, a "coach's dream."

Alejandro tackles his academic pursuits with the same focus he brings to the soccer field. Majoring in business with plans to pursue sports management, he maintains a high GPA through diligent habits: he never misses a class, ensures all assignments are completed, and commits to studying hard for every test.


His commitment to the campus community is equally strong. As a dedicated student worker, Alejandro is known for his punctuality, proactive nature, and ability to remain focused on his tasks.
