ALLENDALE, SC – October 5, 2025 – The University of South Carolina Salkehatchie is proud to announce Logan Stephens as the recipient of the 2025 Parker Neff Baseball Scholarship. Logan is a sophomore on the USC Salkehatchie baseball team and is pursuing a degree in engineering. He is a graduate of Wren High School in Piedmont, South Carolina.
The Parker Neff Baseball Scholarship was established by Parker’s family to honor his memory and support future USC Salkehatchie baseball players who exemplify a balance of athletic skill and outstanding character.
A Leader On and Off the Field
Logan was chosen for his dedication both in the classroom and on the field, embodying the values of hard work and positive impact that the scholarship represents.
USC Salkehatchie Head Baseball Coach Jeremy Joye spoke highly of the sophomore’s contributions to the team culture.
“Logan is a silent leader, both on and off the field, and excels in the classroom, as well,” said Coach Joye. “He is a great teammate and a great dugout guy, when he's not in the lineup. He is a positive personality and strives to pull his teammates up rather than tear anyone down.”
Honoring Parker's Legacy
This scholarship is designed to assist aspiring athletes who, like Parker, possess both skill and character. By providing financial support, the scholarship aims to empower young players to pursue their dreams and embrace Parker’s values of sportsmanship and dedication.
Through the ongoing support of the Parker Neff Baseball Scholarship, Parker’s legacy of inspiration and encouragement will continue to uplift future generations of Salkehatchie baseball players by continuing to "bring others along."
