WALTERBORO, S.C. - USC Salkehatchie Men's Basketball has officially added Justin Baxter to the roster for the 2023
-24 season. Baxter becomes the fourteenth player to sign under Head Coach Matt Lynch.
Baxter, a 6-foot, 7-inch, 215-pound forward, joins the program out of Bamberg, S.C., where he played at Bamberg High School under Coach Corey Crosby.
"I am excited to add JB to our official roster," said Coach Lynch. "Justin reached out to me immediately upon being hired and expressed his interest in joining the program. He spent one academic year at Salk and had a great reputation with faculty and staff. I initially offered him an opportunity to be a practice player, which he has done a great job with. He ultimately earned himself a spot on the roster. He fits who we are at Salkehatchie and can help us build towards what we want to become!"
Baxter becomes the fourth S.C. signee under Lynch, joining Jai Chisolm (Summerville) Makhi Rivers (Oceanside), and Grayson Kirk (Lancaster).
