WALTERBORO, S.C. (December 19, 2025) – The USC Salkehatchie women’s basketball team delivered a powerhouse performance on Friday, securing a commanding 93-60 victory over Trinity Baptist College. The win was defined by an explosive offense and a relentless presence on the glass, as the team combined for a staggering 54 rebounds.
Double-Double Dominance
The Salkehatchie attack was led by Lanasia Wilson, who fueled the scoreboard with a game-high 22 points. However, the story of the night was the interior dominance of Kemarja Peay and KeMyra Dennis.
Peay recorded a massive double-double, finishing with 21 points and 18 rebounds. Not far behind her, Dennis anchored the defense and second-chance opportunities by hauling in 17 rebounds to go along with 7 points.
Balanced Scoring Attack
Salkehatchie’s depth was on full display as five players reached double digits in scoring:
Lanasia Wilson:Â 22 points
Kemarja Peay:Â 21 points
Madison Kerry:Â 12 points
Eliza Baskins:Â 12 points
Dalashia Brunson:Â 10 points
The team’s ability to share the ball and find the open shooter kept Trinity Baptist on their heels throughout the contest, ultimately leading to the 33-point margin of victory.
