Michael McLeod 2012

Michael McLeod played baseball at USC Salkehatchie in 1992. A centerfielder while at USC Salkehatchie, he held every hitting record on the team as well as several region hitting records. He was first team all-region that year for region X. After one year on the campus he was drafted by the Oakland Athletics. He played for the Oakland organization in Arizona for 2 l/2 years.


After leaving baseball, Michael returned to finish his degree at Youngstown State University where he was a member of the national championship football team under Coach Tressel.

He currently teaches autistic children at an elementary school in Wheeling, West Virginia and is the head JV Coach at Wheeling Park High School. He lives across the river in Martins Ferry, Ohio.
