First Conference Win for USC Salkehatchie Volleyball!

USC Salkehatchie Volleyball secured its first conference win of the season with a thrilling 3–2 victory over USC Union. The match was a battle from beginning to end, with the teams trading points throughout all five sets. USC Salkehatchie remained focused under pressure and pulled together when it mattered most to earn the hard-fought win.

“It was an absolute battle all five sets,” said the coach. “We went point for point, but in the end, we wanted it more and locked in to earn the win.”

Sophomore captain Martina Sommaruga led the team’s attack with 13 kills, while freshman Bella Mathews delivered seven aces. Sophomore captain Hailey Stephens anchored the defense with an impressive 22 digs.
