The USC Salkehatchie women’s basketball team delivered a stunning performance on Thursday night, defeating Denmark Tech 107-81 at home. The victory marks a significant milestone for the program, highlighted by an explosive offensive output that surpassed the century mark.

The Salkehatchie offense was relentless, notably dropping 45 points in the third quarter alone, securing a commanding lead that Denmark Tech could not overcome. The team’s final score of 107 points is a testament to their offensive firepower.

Following the game, Coach Erin Houser spoke passionately about the team's journey and growth.

"We are beyond proud of our girls. This win meant so much to us — especially considering where we started. To go from having only six players to a full roster, and from losing games by 20 to winning games by 20, is something truly worth celebrating. Scoring 107 points tonight felt incredible," Houser said. "Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us tonight. We still have areas to grow, but we couldn’t be more proud of our kids and the direction we’re headed."
