USC Salkehatchie Volleyball Keeps Conference Momentum Rolling

USC Salkehatchie volleyball added another conference win, defeating USC Lancaster 3–1.

USC Lancaster came out strong, looking to end its losing streak against Salkehatchie. But the team met that challenge with focus and energy, staying locked in on every play, every ball and every point to earn the victory.

Freshman middle hitter Alessia Ciotti made her presence felt at the net, posting a .400 hitting percentage. Martina Sommaruga delivered from the service line with a team-high six aces and kept plays alive on defense with 23 digs. On the right side, Leyna Wierzbicki shut down attacks with four solo blocks.

Lancaster brought the pressure early. Salkehatchie answered together; and added another conference win to its season.
