USC Salkehatchie Names Madison Kerry and James Logan Bass Athletes of the Year

University of South Carolina Salkehatchie is proud to announce that Madison Kerry and James Logan Bass have been named the 2026 Female and Male Athletes of the Year. The honors were presented during the annual Academic Awards Reception held on April 14 at Marvin Park.
The Athlete of the Year awards recognize students who demonstrate exceptional skill, leadership, and sportsmanship while representing USC Salkehatchie.
"Our student-athletes balance rigorous academic schedules with the physical and mental demands of competitive sports," said Dr. Sarah Miller, Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs. "Madison and Logan have both shown incredible dedication to their teams and the university, and we are thrilled to recognize their contributions to our athletic programs."
