USC Salkehatchie Midfielders Julian Beltran and Alejandro Henao Earn NJCAA Region 10 All-Region Honors

ALLENDALE, S.C. – The USC Salkehatchie men's soccer program is proud to announce that two of its sophomores, Julian Beltran and Alejandro Henao, have been named to the NJCAA Region 10 All-Region Soccer Team for their outstanding performances this season.

Speedy winger Julian Beltran was named First Team All-Region. USC Salkehatchie Head Soccer Coach Bill Glass praised Beltran's multifaceted play.

"Julian loves to attack and has a bag of nifty tricks to baffle opponents," said Glass. "But what I really like is his quick transition onto defense when the opposing team gets the ball."

Fellow midfielder Alejandro Henao received Region 10 All-Region, Honorable Mention for his crucial role in the center of the pitch.

"Ale played the role of a midfielder stopper," Coach Glass explained. "His job was to break up our opponents' counterattacks, a crucial responsibility."

Both Beltran and Henao are dedicated student-athletes with high GPAs, reflecting their commitment both on the field and in the classroom. Both sophomores will graduate from USC Salkehatchie this spring.
