Salk Volleyball Back in Action for Spring Season

Our Salkehatchie volleyball squad hit the court this week to kick off their spring season with a bang!
The girls were all smiles jumping into the drills this week after returning from winter break.
Captain Serah Rego said, "I missed this so much! Being with the girls, competing, and having fun, this is the place I am truly at my best."
Coach Dani Aquino remarked, "It's really great to be back in action with this team. They are all eager to jump into spring competition season. We have a lot of fun things planned, and it's great to see them all so happy to be here."
Salk volleyball will host three home spring matches:
Saturday 3/15 Trimatch w/ St. Andrews and Palmetto Strikers VBC
Game times: 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
Friday 3/21 Home game vs. Columbia College
Game time: 6 p.m.
Wednesday 4/9 Home game vs. Sumter
Game time: 6 p.m.
They will also hit the road to play St. Andrews, Columbia College, and Sumter throughout the spring as well.
In addition to games, Coach Aquino has numerous prospective recruits attending campus as well as other college coaches.
Captain Connelly Smith said, "I'm nervous for the college coaches to come see me play, but I know I have to lock in and show them my best."
Captain Sydney Kashner also remarked, "We're all a little rusty, but we're also excited to get to work."
