WALTERBORO, S.C. – The USC Salkehatchie men's basketball team earned a win tonight after defeating Gordon State College 111 - 89. The team was excited to be back home in the Salk Palace after returning from a three-game road stint that included contests against Palm Beach State, #10 Daytona State, and East Georgia College. With the win tonight, the team improved to 4 - 3 on the season.
Salkehatchie controlled the game from buzzer to buzzer. Using their depth to keep the game in transition, Salkehatchie took a 27-point lead into halftime, 60-33. The team stayed hot coming out of halftime in a contest where all 11 USC Salkehatchie players scored.
