McPherson, Chisolm, and Lynch Earn Top Region 10 Basketball Honors

USC Salkehatchie's men's basketball team has earned significant accolades in Region 10 this season, including Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Coach of the Year honors.

CJ McPherson's stellar season earned him the Region 10 Player of the Year award, recognizing his exceptional offensive skills and leadership on the court. Jai Chisolm's tenacious defense and impact on the game led to his selection as Region 10 Defensive Player of the Year. Coach Matt Lynch's leadership and strategic coaching were instrumental in the team's success, earning him the Region 10 Coach of the Year accolade.

Both McPherson and Chisolm have also earned spots on the First Team All-Region 10 team.

"This is a tremendous accomplishment for our men's basketball program and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our student-athletes and coaching staff," said Rodney Barr, athletic director at USC Salkehatchie. "To have the Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Coach of the Year all from USC Salkehatchie speaks volumes about the quality of our program. These awards reflect the commitment to excellence we strive for in all our athletic programs."
