Alexander Alvarez has signed to play for USC Salkehatchie men's soccer this fall.
Florida is a hotbed for soccer with a highly developed youth soccer program feeding some of the best high school soccer teams in the USA. Alexander Alvarez was a great addition to the Sunshine State soccer scene when he came to the US from Venezuela. His club soccer team, The Chargers, was happy to have him take over goalkeeping duties. He went on to play for Sickles High School.
“College ball is the next logical step for Alexander,” Coach Bill Glass said. “We are excited to have him join the Indians.”
